If so, get your mixer and taste buds ready for this seasonal smoothie, which consolidates all the absorption boosting activity of fennel and celery with the vitamin C of lemon juice, and the counter oxidizing properties of pears.
Ingredients:
2 ripe pears
1 fennel bulb (washed and sliced)
6 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 celery stalk, cut into small cubes
Instruction:
Place all ingredients in the mixer, and process until smooth.
For a more exotic taste, add some fresh grated ginger.
If you’d like it sweeter, add 1 tablespoon of honey.
